Which aspects of the mighty storm will you embrace as part of your Nature?

Thunder rumbles in the distance. It resounds in our environment and moves us from the inside as it resonates with our experiences.

Sometimes, it’s THAT kind of Thunder, echoing from past experiences and past storms that we weathered and survived.

Hearing the rumble of Thunder today, from our place of safety and maybe even comfort, activates the fear we felt that time we were outside, unsheltered and vulnerable.

When the trauma of old storms approach, I remind myself to stay present. I look around and say a prayer of gratitude for my shelter and comfort. I call my friends who compassionately accompany me.

I breathe and wait for the storm to pass.
