What important project will you now complete, knowing you are unconditionally supported?
The image is a beautiful painting of Raven. Ravens offer themselves as Allies to help us accomplish what seems to be impossible.
Literature and some cultural lore name Raven as a harbinger of death and black magic. For some, Raven elicits fear. This is a mistaken impression. Raven offers to be our ally, to lend us their unique perspectives and power. This frightens some people because they fear that Raven offering to be our ally is an attempt to turn humans to the dark side. It is simplistic and untrue UNLESS the person chooses to use the power of Raven for their own selfish reasons. Then, there will be a backfire — but only if they do the selfish thing.
Raven’s feathers are not simply black but an iridescent and evolving demonstration of color, if carefully observed. Meg’s painting of Raven offers us the Blue in Raven’s countenance. True Blue. Blue is the color of Truth.
Will you overcome obstacles and complete that important project, knowing you are Raven — not a harbinger of fear, but of light — with its rainbow of color and textured potential?
