What evidence do you find of human connection with all realms of Nature?
I observe the ways I am connected to Nature through my unique experience.
Moon, the foundation in this card, reminds me to be the witness to my experience. Like the Moon in our night sky, ever-present and cycling through phases, I am present to my life as I attempt to simultaneously view it objectively.
Fire is our personal passion and is being supported by Moon.
Recently, I sat on the front steps of our house, playing tic-tac-toe on the back of an old envelope with our grandson Finbarr. He is seven years old. It was the first time I’d played with him and I showed him the “place your mark in the middle” strategy. I showed him time and time again how to make the grid and he persisted in trying it.
I was Finn’s Grandma in that moment AND I was also six-year-old Peggy, sitting next to my Nan, my Great Grandma, who was teaching ME to play on the back of an old envelope.
The evidence I find of my human connection with all the realms of Nature is sometimes the overlapping of time and experience.
