In what ways are you a torch that lights the way for others?

Hecate is the Greek goddess of the Moon and of magic, among other forces. She carries a torch.

When Persephone was kidnapped by Hades and taken to the underworld with the assent of her own father Zeus, her distraught mother, Earth Mother Demeter, enlisted Hecate to help rescue Persephone. Hecate is the keeper of the boundary-lands and of the cross road.

Hecate, in all her power, led Demeter into the underworld for the rescue mission, illuminating the dark with her torch.

It takes but one person to be the torch that lights the way and vanquishes the dark. May we each find the opportunity to be that torch for others.
