From what are you declaring independence?

Today, I declare independence, interdependence, a New Earth from the Old of selfishness and driving consumerism.

Kindness is the answer. Compassion is the way.

Gather the people together to honor Mother Nature and to give thanks. Re-establish the right relationship with all sentient beings.

To honor the Other is to respect the Self. Preserve and protect the waters of Earth. Mediate the use of natural resources with the intent to restore harmony to the land, between the People, and with the rest of creation.

True independence is generous interdependence.
