What kind of evidence challenges what you know?

Knowing is not just an opinion. Knowing is not believing. Knowing is believing PLUS sufficient evidence to ensure that our belief is founded in verifiable, repeatable proof. Knowing is belief plus evidence.

When you know something, when you truly know it, what kind of evidence is necessary to challenge that knowing?

When evidence presents itself that tells me I need to reconsider what I know and then I notice it again, I take that as a challenge to formulate in my mind a statement of what I know. Then, I consider the evidence. Is it still true?

Staying open to challenges to what I know requires an open mind, an open heart, and courage.
