What characteristics do your heart-mediated communications have that short cuts do not?

This question asks us to contemplate the difference between heart-mediated communication and “short-cuts.”

Observing the difference, consider having a thoughtful, relaxed, one-on-one conversation with another person — versus sending them a text or e-mail — about a difficult topic. The former requires time, care, and vulnerability.

With practice, the discomfort of these heart-mediated conversations becomes a familiar and not un-welcome path.
